What our customers say
I selected Adams Electrical Services to install a Hypervolt home 3 charger based on their previous reviews and past experiences in installation similar products. I was not disappointed. Jack carried out the installation to a very high professional standard and he was helpful in the setting up of the charger connectivity. I highly recommend Adams Electrical Services and I am planning further projects with them.

Common questions about EV chargers
What size home EV charger do I need?
Most homes are best suited to a 7kW smart charger, which adds around 25 to 30 miles of range per hour and fully charges most electric cars overnight. It is the standard home EV charger for a single-phase supply.
How long does EV charger installation take?
Most home EV charger installations are completed in a single visit. Longer cable runs or groundworks can take a little longer, and we will confirm timings when we quote.
Does my EV charger need to be registered with the DNO?
Yes. Every new EV charger installation must be notified to your local Distribution Network Operator (DNO), the company that runs the electricity network in your area. We handle the DNO notification for you as part of the installation, and if your supply needs assessing first, we will explain what is needed.
Can I get an instant price for an electric car charger?
Yes. Use our instant EV quote tool to choose your charger, answer a few questions and see a guide price including VAT in about a minute.
